Brazil, India, Qatar, Colombia (3X), London, Brazil.
I fell in love with Qatar and Rio de Janeiro. London continues to be my favorite city in the world.
1 Divorce
Massive growth happened here as in a matter of seven weeks, I moved out, found an Airbnb, worked full time, traveled to Colombia, found a new condo, bought the condo, moved in, and closed the divorce.1
At the end of this experience, I was heartbroken but inspired by how strong I was! I’m unbreakable!
Lost >$75K in a crypto hack
In August, I was scammed into giving access to my Nexo.com account and lost $75K (Probably >$100K at today’s prices) in cryptocurrency.
While painful, I learned the importance of securely storing my crypto assets. I also improved my security posture by creating strategies to avoid even more significant disasters. Some of these include:
- Using Aura for web monitoring
- Whitelisting crypto accounts that are allowed to receive funds (there is typically a 72 hr delay before a new one is approved)
- Finding alternatives to convert my crypto into assets that can’t be easily stolen – gold is an example
Laid off after 6.5 years
This was the first time I had been laid off in my entire career. I took some risks, but they didn’t pay off. I regret nothing.
The layoff was a blessing, and I will use this opportunity to build something that will change the world.
6 Weeks With Family
Talking about blessings. The layoff and the divorce allowed me to spend six weeks with my family in Maryland. I spent Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, and a wedding with my loved ones. This was the first time in probably a decade that I got to spend so much time with them.
New Friends
I elevated my friendships in all areas of life. I created new friends for business, tech, health, fun, and growth. Together we will go really far!
2025
2025 will be the most amazing year of my life. I am working on so many exciting projects, and I can’t wait to share them with you all! I’m looking forward to more challenges, growth, contribution, and love!
